The Dixie Gun & Knife Show in Raleigh and the Greensboro Gun Show offer the widest selection of used traditional muzzle loaders walking around and on the tables. Prices have come down since then, and there are plenty out there, since they made a couple hundred thousand rifles. ![]() T/C barrels had asking prices of $300 by themselves, and $50 locks were $150 and up. After the word got out that S&W bought the company a few years ago, and that all of the traditional rifles were discontinued, folks on Gunbroker went bonkers on the prices. If you find a T/C Hawken or Renegade, and the serial number starts with a "K", the "K" indicates that the firearm was sold by T/C as a kit to assemble instead of a factory assembled/finished gun.įactory-finished T/C Hawkens in "showroom condition" sell on gun show dealer tables around $300-350.
